New Banyan Tree is an integrated semester course which has been drawn on the guidelines provided in the National Curriculum framework for school Educations 2005.
In addition to the core curricular subjects-English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies-there is a separate section on General Knowledge in each book. The contents have been distributed in 2 semesters keeping in mind the available number of working days in an academic year.
The Contents, exercises and activities included in the course are designed to motivate learners to develop an interest in acquiring knowledge and make the learning process an interactive one.
